Nothing was bad about our experience here, but nothing was amazing. First of all, we had no problem getting a table on a Friday night around 7:30 or 8. Our waiter was very friendly, and they give everyone tea when they sit down, which was great. We ordered our food and waited. Our appetizer was amazing. We had the roti and it was remarkable. The main courses weren't as amazing. They weren't bad, but were comparable to your corner Chinese take out. Sam's was good, but maybe not worth as much as I paid. Also this is advertised as Malaysian food. It seemed more like Chinese to me.

This is a REALLY good Malaysian food. I have not yet tried the sushi, but I hear it's good. Most dishes are not at ALL spicy, but if you ask, the kitchen will add some red pepper flakes or chili oil. The seafood TomYum soup though, brought tears to my eyes (in a good way.) Fast, gracious service, and plenty of choices good food kids or vegetarians.

Surprisingly delicious! A great rehab of the old bistro on this spot, with really good food and great service. Basil shrimp and the mango chicken were both delicious and we will be back to try lots of other dishes, both Japanese and Malaysian.

Not your typical Asian restaurant. At first, given their large menu selection, I thought this place might be just like your average greasy Chinese takeout place. But I was pleasantly surprised. Their decor is clean, modern, and spacious. Service is good. Prices are very reasonable. But what sets them apart is the uniqueness of their dishes, and the flavor. Malaysian spare ribs were awesome - super tasty, but didn't feel oversalted. Coconut rice was smooth and delicious. And the coconut drink was something special I haven't seen at any other restaurant before - they just pop open a whole coconut for you, and you can drink the juice (sweet, but no sugar added), and eat the inside. Their menu reminds me a little of nearby Sang Kee (mix of different Asian cuisines). But their food I thought was on par or better than Sang Kee, and felt like it was less greasy. I can't recommend this place enough.

This relatively new restaurant is amazing! So far I've only sampled their take out menu, but I plan to dine here very soon. Their sushi here rivals any of the other sushi places I've checked out in the area. It's definitely worth a try to see for yourself. When I stopped in to pick up my food I met Sam himself (again). He is quite friendly, eager to hear about what I thought about my laster order, and is ready to fix any complaints that I might have had. (There hasn't been any yet.) Definitely worth checking out friends!
